Facilities at Care Community Camp

Accommodation is free and is in separate rooms at Bethel House overlooking the Tasman Sea and Wainui Beach. Rooms have two single beds, one has a double bed, and if an extra bed is required please bring a camp stretcher.

Each room has a ranch-slider opening north on to a shared verandah that has a spectacular view across the Tasman Sea.

A communal lounge, kitchen and dining area has a fireplace and huge windows looking out across the beach where most weekends there are surfers and hang-glider pilots riding waves of ocean surge or thermal air.

Bathrooms and toilets are accessed from a hallway.

Bethel is part of a six hectare camp complex owned by Children's Bible Ministries and is located 6km beyond the seaside township of Raglan (the road signs warn of some sharp turns as you climb to the camp).

Care weekends are held concurrently with other Raglan Camp activities but Bethel House during our stay is 'out of bounds' to the rest of the camp.
