Welcome to The Care Community

The Care Community Trust is an incorporated charitable trust based at Hamilton in New Zealand.

The Trust is run by volunteers, including former nurses and patients, who offer free weekends in motel-type accommodation at the privately owned Camp Raglan, overlooking Wainui Beach.friends walking beach

We offer "time out" weekends for small groups of cancer patients and support partners referred by the Cancer Society or a similar organisation.

Meals are provided and the time is without any agenda.

It's a time to walk a bush track and amble along an inspiring West Coast beach; to try new activities or simply take it easy.

Camp Raglan is located at 578 Wainui Road, which is 6km south of the seaside township of Raglan - click here for directions.

The Care Community Trust weekends at Raglan are for friendship and support, relaxing walks, rest and recreation, a gentle time and a fun time.
